Hope in Every Step

It is emotional.
Social.
Human.

Through TangoStride™, participants rediscover confidence to do things that make a difference in their lives such as walking to the mailbox, grocery shopping independently, travel, dancing in a grandchild’s wedding, or simply walking up to say hi to a friend.

Many individuals come to us after rehabilitation ends — searching for continued movement support, connection, and belonging.

Your contribution helps make that possible.

Four people, three women and one man, are dancing in a large room with wooden floors and big windows. The man and one woman are facing each other, holding each other's arms, while the other two women stand nearby, with one touching the shoulder of the woman facing the man. All are wearing face masks.

Filling the Gap Beyond Rehabilitation

Many individuals living with neurological conditions or mobility challenges complete rehabilitation programs but still need continued movement support, encouragement, and community.

Hugs that Empower was founded to help fill that gap through TangoStride™ — a connection-centered movement program rooted in dignity, hope, and human connection.
